January 14th! The second in the series, the Franklin Pond Quintet, is an enchanting chamber music performance by four members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. These talented musicians return to Jekyll Island for a spectacular performance inside the recently restored Jekyll Island Club Hotel Morgan Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or by calling the Jekyll Island Visitor Information Center at 912-635-3636.
Each musician has individually performed with such organizations at the Boston Pops, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the New Hampshire Philharmonic, and the St. Louis Symphony. For this concert, they will perform as the Franklin Pond Chamber Music Quintet. The name of the quintet stems from their participation as instructors with the Franklin Pond Chamber Music program, a highly praised summer music program for serious young musicians.
The quintet is comprised of two violinist, a cello player, a harpist, and a violist. Performance pieces include works by Joseph Haydn, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Antonín Dvořák.
Featuring a selection of fine music and delicious food. The concert series is produced by the Jekyll Island Authority, the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, and the Jekyll Island Art Association to benefit the Jekyll Island Foundation.
Each concert features a different style of music and a pre-concert VIP cocktail reception or dinner. General admission and VIP tickets available. VIP tickets include the pre-concert events, 1 glass of complimentary wine, and a ticket to the performance.

VIP: $85. $160 per couple. Space limited. Reservations must be made by January 9. VIP Tickets include pre-concert gourmet dinner, 1 glass of complimentary wine, and a ticket to the performance. Cash bar also available.
Performance Schedule: 6-7 p.m. pre-concert gourmet dinner, 7:30 p.m. general admission, doors open, 8 p.m. concert begins.
