Experienced
sailors, kayakers, and boaters know to check the tide chart before
they head out so that they don't run into unexpectedly shallow water
in the local rivers and waterways.
Tides are a way of life along the south Atlantic coast, but they
are an important force to keep track of if you're planning to spend
the day out on the water. Be sure to consult the tide chart below
to keep track of the area's tides each month.
